Australia Sydney Sydney - CBD

Cremeria de Luca

You guys are probably familiar with “Cremeria de Luca”, the place that invented the infamous “Gelato Burger”. How would you feel if I tell you that they have opened a pop-up store at the Strand Arcade in the city?

This is a great place to chill for those who works in the city.

I was drooling when waiting in-line. The base for the burger is already predetermined with Panna, Nutella and Brioche bun. But you have a choice of gelato to choose from. You can choose up to 2 scoops of gelato. This meal is, of course, traditionally eaten with hands. Yes, it is rude to ask for fork and knife. :p

A great way to eat it is for you to rip off the lid of the bun and use it as a spoon to scoop the gelato. This is based on strict instructions from the owner.

I ordered for myself Pistachio and Cinnamon, as pistachio is one of my all time favorite flavours. But who would have guessed that the Cinnamon and Panna were so complimentary to each other that it gave me the feeling of being “one step into heaven”

It was such a great occasion when I just finished work and wandered around the city.. and I just happened to pass by this pop-up store.

But they will only be there till 13 of March so you better get there quickly. Otherwise you can always go to Five Dock to try out this amazeball burger.
